Leon hines

Leon Hines is a dynamic speaker and motivator.  Something you will notice from the moment you meet him.  A native of Fayetteville, NC, his transparent testimony has touched the lives of thousands and is growing by the day.  Mr. Hines is the owner of the Tobacco Road Barber & Beauty Shop and the CEO of Impel Barber Studio. Furthermore, he’s the host of The Impel Forward Podcast where he utilizes his platform to encourage his listeners to always strive for greatness.  Sharing his personal stories and the stories of his distinguished guest, Mr. Hines ensures his message of perseverance is conveyed.

Because of his past experiences and accomplishments, Mr. Hines believes everyone has the potential to change.  You see, at the age of 16, Mr. Hines went from an admired student-athlete to a high school dropout, to state inmate for 7.5 years, to now; a successful entrepreneur and mentor to many.  Mr. Hines' inspiring transformation not only changed the hearts of those he loves, but positively impacted the community in which he serves.  His personal journey of change has helped people from all facets of life make personal change and live a life of purpose.

Mr. Hines encourages all, “No matter the setbacks or failures in life, we can all get up and start over again. Take action because not trying at all, is where you fail."  says Mr. Hines.  His goal is to drive, force and urge others to Impel Forward and in doing so will leave anyone who hears him speak, inspired, motivated and full of hope for the future.
